EXPANSION AND RENOVATION OF THE EMISFERO SHOPPING CENTER IN SILEA (TREVISO, ITALY)

A precious contribution to the completion of the Sileamare area. The expansion of the Emisfero shopping center constitutes a precious contribution on the part of the Carron construction company to the broad framework of activities undertaken in recent years for the implementation of the new Immobilmarca plan for the redevelopment of the Sileamare area, in collaboration with the municipality of Silea. The area of redevelopment is located east of the city, adjacent to the Treviso-Mare regional road, near the Treviso Sud exit of the A-27 Venice-Belluno motorway. Subject to a number of variants over time, the area now enjoys an entirely new image, with the construction of commercial and office spaces, residential units, hotels and restaurants. Carron’s involvement in the project goes back more than ten years, with the commencement of works in 2004 for the construction of the Sily residential and commercial complex. Entirely built using green building methods, it was completed in 2006 together with the construction and opening of the first part of the Emisfero shopping center. From 2006 to 2008, Carron was involved in the construction of the 6000 sq m Sportler store, a well-known name in sporting goods. Lastly, work was began in March 2014 for the expansion of the Emisfero shopping center. This challenging project was completed this year.The shopping center, owned by the Unicomm group, doubled in space following a total of 10,200 sq m of new construction. The project was completed in record-breaking time, considering that the company was concurrently involved, also in the Sileamare area but on the west side, in the construction of another new 5,700 sq m building, currently occupied by a maxistore of the OBI DIY chain.
